Carolyn Ann Aish lives at the bottom of the world amongst the spectacular scenery of New Zealand, close to Mount Egmont and not far from the Tasman Sea. Addicted to writing stories and songs, she is now publishing new authors' children's books.
Alice Berger lives on a 26-acre farm in Pennsylvania with her husband, Gene, three cats and a dog. Her first book, "Who's Taking a Bath?" was released in December, 2007.
Andrea Buginsky is a 32-year-old freelance writer. who earned her BA in Mass Communications - Journalism from USF in May 2007. She has a congenital heart condition that she lives with everyday. Her three dogs are her babies.
Martha Conte lives in South Florida. She had a story published in the anthology book Changing Course: Women's Inspiring Stories of Menopause, Midlife and Moving Forward, compiled and edited by Yitta Halberstam and has recently had two stories published on the website of Children Come First.
Betty Dobson is the recently-retired-from-corporate-life owner of InkSpotter Publishing, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She released her first book of poetry, Paper Wings, in October 2006 and has two new anthologies in the works for September 2007--Holiday Writes: Celebrations Throughout the Year and Around the World, and Backless, Strapless & Slit the Throat: A Femme Fatale Anthology.
Josefine Ejebjörk is a writer from Landskrona, Sweden, who got her Bachelor of Art in History and Communication from Carroll College, Wisconsin, USA. She has a few articles published and is currently working as a freelancer as well as writing her first novel.
Alison Ashley Formento lives in New Jersey with her husband and kids, who constantly give her more ideas than she has time to write. Alison’s writing has appeared in The New York Times, Parenting Magazine, The New Jersey Monthly and several other publications, including several celebrity interviews. Her one-act plays have been produced in New York and her short stories published in Common Ties and Sinner+Saint Press.
Fred Fuller is a widower living in Virginia working on his next career. His previous occupations include being a newspaper reporter / columnist for two small town dailies (The Greenfield (IN) Daily Reporter and The Mt. Vernon (IN) Democrat) and a teacher. Some of his poetry has been published in literary arts magazines. He publishes some of his writing on his official website as well as writes a weekly blog.
Olgy Gary is an author, game designer, editor, ghostwriter and consultant. Her cross-cultural simulations, "The Luna and The Kampei Game, have been extensively used by trainers worldwide. She has worked as a ghost writer in 20+ books. Olgy is originally from Cuba and holds an M.A. in Instructional Design. As webmaster, she maintains several author and educational sites.
Kathy Hagan has sold six contemporary romance novels to Harlequin American, using the pen name Kaitlyn Rice. She currently has a proposal under consideration by Harlequin SuperRomance, and she doubts that she'd have written half as much without the motivation and support provided by this group.
Annie Haws, who writes pseudonymously as Montgomery Sword, currently lives in Georgia, US. In addition to never being more than a few inches from a book, she writes Fantasy and Horror {and hopes to branch into SciFi}, is active in several critique outlets and as a disciple/character and writer at www.mernac.com, and reviews online in a number of genres.
Megan Herren is a freelance writer residing in Colorful Colorado. Among other things, she enjoys gardening, business studies, reading, family and of course practicing the art of word daily.
Heidi Hood A million things written none so far published, a doctoral candidate that spends way too much time in front of her computer writing (probable nonsense) rather than completing her more serious academic prose. Lives in TX, married happily with a beautiful German Shepherd kid.
Pamela K. Kinney has always loved making up stories since she was a child. She has published both under this name for horror, science fiction, fantasy and a nonfiction book, Haunted Richmond, Virginia. Under the pen name, Sapphire Phelan, has published erotic and sweet paranormal, fantasy, and science fiction romances.
Pat Kennelly is a freelance writer and poet currently living in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She blogs almost daily on "writing daily" with inspirational quotes, craft book recommendations, writing prompts and everything and anything writing related.
Caroline Ledeboer enjoys writing fiction, personal essays, and prose poems. She also writes lyrics and enjoys singing in the duo, Eacret and Ledeboer, whose third CD is coming out this summer. With two YA books in drafts (both drafted in large part during BIW), she is now in the interminable editing stage, and learning as she goes, hoping a REAL editor will want to join her soon.
Candie Moonshower's The Legend of Zoey (Delacorte) won the SCBWI "Sue Alexander Most Promising New Work Award." The book was inspired by the legends her great-grandmother, a Creek Indian born and bred in Tennessee, told her about Reelfoot Lake. Candie grew up in Okinawa and in Tennessee, and she lives in Nashville.
Elsa Neal has completed two novels, and written over 100 articles on creativity, writing, fashion, and stress management. Links to all of her articles, and other resources for writers, are available on her website.

Ann Parker is the author of the award-winning Silver Rush historical mystery series published by Poisoned Pen Press. The Silver Rush series takes places in 1880s Leadville, Colorado, during the silver rush, when everyone was dying to get rich. Protagonist Inez Stannert runs a Leadville saloon and has a penchant for high-stakes poker, strong drink, and dangerous men.

Lori Robinett lives in Missouri with her husband and daughter. She works full-time as a paralegal, and is the editor of "the Gavel," a publication of the Mid-Missouri Paralegal Association. She writes under the name Elle Robb, and maintains a website and blog.
Wilhelmina Rush lives in San Antonio, Texas, with her husband and her corgi dog. Over the years, she's worked as a fry cook, a field assistant, a lab rat, a construction worker, a teaching assistant, a mutual fund price supplier, a geologist, a web designer, a database specialist, and a secretary.
Louise Sawyer lives in "paradise" on Vancouver Island and you'll find her walking on the beach, hunched over her laptop, or stitching dollhouse furniture. She loves to write, teach, and coach about creative issues and finds joy in helping women with chronic illnesses go beyond survival and thrive creatively.
Betty Schmidt lives on a farm in Tennessee, retired Vanderbilt University editorial assistant, now working on her first book The Life Message Scrapbook: A Simple Forumla for Writing Your Stories.
Heidi Schulz lives in Maryland with her husband and seven year old daughter, but will soon be attempting a 3000 mile cross-country move (with her family) back to their native Oregon. She has loved writing since the third grade, but has only recently decided to try and make a career of it. She is currently working on her first novel, a fantasy-adventure for children.
Natalie Streber currently resides in Chicago, IL, against her better judgement. She is a mother to a 2 1/2 year-old little girl and a 7-month-old baby girl. When she isn't working as a baby factory she is working on her first novel.
While Lea Wait was raising the 4 daughters she adopted as a single parent she worked for a major corporation. Now she writes fiction for both adults and children. The first in her Shadows Antique Print Mystery series was a finalist for a "best first" Agatha Award, and her acclaimed historical novels for children have appeared on numerous recommended lists.
Linda Whalen has owned and operated Whalen’s Country Child Care for many years. Now she writes for children and occasionally for adults. Most of her interviews have been in reference to her book for adults, The Valley of Childhood, a journey of enlightenment and inspiration. Her children’s book Rainbowl Pond the Duck Ballet is available through her web site.
Carol Williams lives in beautiful upstate New York where she works in the computer center of a Library, sell books online, does life-coaching and writes. She writes mostly because she must - it keeps her grounded and sane. She has three grown children and six grandchildren.
M. E. Wood lives in Eastern Ontario, Canada. If you are going to find this eclectic reader and writer anywhere it is probably at her computer... or in the garden.
